“Everything that Kenny does is for the family.” Prime Video has revealed the first official trailer for a sports documentary film titled Kenny Dalglish, which is indeed about the uber famous Scottish footballer named Kenny Dalglish. It’s the latest biopic doc film from acclaimed director Asif Kapadia, also known for the films Senna, Amy, and Diego Maradona previously. Dalglish is regarded as one of the greatest players of all time as well as one of Celtic’s, Liverpool’s and Scotland’s greatest ever players. A humorous & emotional film following Kenny Dalglish’s illustrious career at Britain’s two most successful clubs, Liverpool FC and Celtic. The film reveals how he became one of Europe’s greatest players & an icon in the city of Liverpool, for what he did off the pitch as much as on it. Told in his own words and drawing from hours of never-before-seen archival footage. The doc film explores his remarkable life story – a great player and an extraordinary and humble hero of Liverpool, Glasgow, and the world of football (aka soccer for Americans).
